Many people have been expressing an interest in watching the classic series of Doctor Who as of late, and since I’m sure my followers are tired of me reblogging people’s posts to just say the same thing, here is what will hopefully be a handy guide.
List of serials: Wikipedia has them in…
Reblogging to remember where this is. Finally can catch up on Classic Who.

See, here’s the thing. Those people might be creating a bad image for the Classic fans, but what about the New fans? I’ve not seen anyone reprimanded for continuing, years later, to demand Ten and Rose return, those people who bash Moffat and Smith and anyone involved with this new era, simply because it’s different. How about all the people who threatened or insulted me JUST for hating Rose (and not even tagging my hate)? Don’t THEY create a bad image?
My experience with the Classic Who fandom has been great. You don’t have to have seen every episode– I’m only through the first two Doctors– but it’s the fact that I’m TRYING to get through it all, that’s all they need. I maintain to this day that it is not elitism to ask that fans of a show watch the show. You just can’t be a Doctor Who fan having only seen New Who and not intending to watch Classic. You can be a diehard New Who fan, if you like. And to all those Newvians who insist that “well, I can say I’m a Doctor Who fan, because it’s all the same show!” Yes, yes it is the same show. So why haven’t you watched it?
Anyway, Classic fans may have a touch of pretentiousness, but with reason. The New Who fandom has MORE than its share of obnoxiousness and idiocy, so we’re even.
Edit: If you think Classic fans give you too much shit for not having seen some Classic stuff, TRY TALKING TO LITERALLY ANY NEW WHO FAN AND SEE WHAT THEY SAY IF YOU DIDN’T WATCH NINE. If that’s not elitism, nothing is.
can i just be upset that we have to have ‘classic who’ fandom and ‘new who’ fandom whY CAN’T WE JUST BE THE ‘DOCTOR WHO’ FANDOM WHAT HAPPENED THERE
I am a part of the Doctor Who fandom. I am more than happy to say that I enjoy both Classic and New Who and we should all just get along and eat some jammy dodgers and be like Eight and just forget the difference between the two :P

I know, I know. But like to think she somehow was happy and saved from the Time War, too…
I would just like to say that while he never sees her again in the show, Big Finish and their audio dramas did have him return (as the Eighth Doctor). It was brilliant and heart wrenching.

Okay, I’m poking around this list and trying to figure this out, and I was like “this is confusing… should ask tumblr whovians, they are knowledgeable”. So can any kind soul who knows about Big Finish help me out and tell me…
- I want to start by just going through all the Eighth Doctor audios. I…
If you look up History of the Doctor on Google, you should find a website that reviews all things Doctor Who and puts them in chronological order to the best of their ability, classified by incarnation. Hope this helps some!

I don’t normally write anything personal on here (actually, I’ve never really written anything on here at all). Anyway, I’m just expressing angst because there’s this guy I have a huge crush on in my improv class and he knows and he has a girlfriend and I’m totally cool with that and I wish him the best
I’m just feeling a like a really lonely boy right now
let’s not forget that ‘fandom’ is ’fanatic domain’ shortened
